Hi, The standard procedure is: ./configure (--help (see options)) make make install But really it depends. Also it's not that simple, you need to install automake, autoconf, gcc (on ubuntu you can install a meta package call build-essential). Sometimes you need to ./autogen.sh (i think that is the case of pd vanilla). Cheers~
