i don't think that much has changed on the [loadbang] side between
Pd-0.43 and Pd-0.46.
however, Pd-extended included a number of changes with resp. to
Pd-vanilla. and i know that the [loadbang]s are different in the two
version: e.g. the PdX one has an inlet.

did you compile/link both flext and the externals against Pd-vanilla or
Pd-extended?
