Did you verify that [atoi] actually comes from the deken installed zexy
and not from Pd-extended's own zexy?

Yes, there is a zexy (v0.0) ported from Pd-extended and a 'vanilla' zexy
2.2.6svn. It's important to know that - unlike the Pd-extended zexy -
the vanilla zexy comes as multiple-objects-in-one-file library. This
means you have to first [declare -stdlib zexy] or create [zexy] before
you can successfully instantiate [atoi].
