[PD] [packOSC] reentrancy problem

Oops.. the test patch is bogus. If [packOSC] wouldn't throw away the
second message, the patch would trigger a stack overflow. Attached is a
patch that wouldn't trigger any problems if [packOSC] would support
reentrancy.
