[PD] gemwin ... couldn't create

Hi all,

I am trying to run Gem (ver: 0.93 from Git) and Pd (.46-7) in a new intel
ubuntu 14.04 machine.

everything compiles and loads fine, but although Gem is in the path and I
can create objects like [gemhead] and [Gem], it can't create [gemwin].

If I remember correctly this has something to do with nvidia drivers? any
help is appreciated
