[PD] how to get GEM working in Vanilla?

still getting accustomed to Vanilla:
i've troubles to get Gem working (Windows 10).

Gem is in hte folder together with the other libs

after [declare -lib Gem]
i get errors (patch to create a Gem window)
  gemwin 10
... couldn't create
  gemkeyboard
... couldn't create

after [declare -stdpath Gem]
i get a whole list of errors starting with
  gemglutwindow
... couldn't create
  GLdefine GL_LINEAR
... couldn't create
etc

Gemma also complains about being unable to load Gem

any help appreciated
