[PD] GEM - pix_write problem on windows 7

hi, dear list !

sorry to bother you with yet another GEM problem:

WIN7 - 64bit, PD 0.46.7, GEM 0.93.3, quicktime installed.


when i try to save the render output with pix_write to a .tiff image, PD 
crashes when the filename (including paths) exceeds 6 letters.

even when i succeed to write .tiff images, the console prints the 
following error message:

ERROR: -50 in GraphicsExportSetOutputFile()

but the resulting file is a valid .tiff image




no problem with the jpg format.
