i doubt that.
Pd never ever drops a message: so if you receive a MIDI message and have
it connected correctly to an object, this object is guaranteed to get
this message.
(the object is of course free to ignore any request, e.g. because it is
currently busy doing things - but this only ever happens intentionally)
