Hi Miller,
In g_template.c:

https://sourceforge.net/p/pure-data/pure-data/ci/master/tree/src/g_template.c
Line 591 should bex->x_template = t = template_new(sym, argc, argv);
Otherwise x->x_template ends up pointing to freed memory.
