Yeah, I ran that. I was thinking of the following for new users so the install itself is not sent and then the setting is permanent:

export HOMEBREW_NO_ANALYTICS=1 && /usr/bin/ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)” && brew analytics off
