[PD] [text] object and commas

The helpfile for [text] says that it can include commas, but in practice commas are interpreted as line separators. This seems to be true even when you use the “-c” read flag, which interprets carriage returns as line separators. Is this intentional behaviour?



it would be great if there was a startup flag which allows commas to be read inline, as with [msgfile]. Or is there some other way of getting around the issue?
