Recently, the question of latency compensation has come up in different
contexts, including my own work on integrating Ableton Link into Pd. Lots
of interesting applications can tolerate rather high latency, just as long
as we actually _know_ the latency.

Let's talk about how implement robust support for latency compensation, in
patches as well as externals, across audio APIs and operating systems.
