well, I'll share some thoughts as a previous organizer and someone who's
been to the 4 latest events.

I was even about to write some of this to the list, saying that anyone who
feels like organizing a convention should go for it, because, as miller
says, all it only really requires is that you call it a Pd Convention :)

We had a crazy amount of support when organizing the Pd Convention in
Brazil as we were able to pay for over 20 international flights, provide
hostel acomodation, van transportation, but I had never guaranteed any of
that, and I can say now that it was q when I said I'd do it  I was pretty
