No.
nw.js is basically a wrapper around a DOM window.  A DOM window is 
the API that displays a web page.
The wrapper is for doing things that the DOM window cannot-- resizing 
the window, creating window menus, etc.

I don't understand what you mean here.

I don't understand this, either.  Pd patches are absolutely resizable.
