[PD] cross platforms issues with displaying fonts in vanilla but not in Purr Data

Try:

open -a /Applications/Pd-0.47-1-64bit.app --help

note the “--”

got the same error, starting now with

" open: invalid option -- l "

Try:

open -a /Applications/Pd-0.47-1-64bit.app -help

this should return all possible startup flags to your terminal.
