You are still out of luck, yes.

The auto tools update is not finished on Windows. This is one reason why I didn’t want it merged yet, but alas it has been merged and sometimes that’s how it is.

I will update the build readme with instructions when I do get it working…

Sorry everything is not perfect, maybe I should start a Patreon page...
