Five year appointment. The School of Music, Humanities and Media at the University of Huddersfield (United Kingdom) is looking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Digital Signal Processing Applied to Music. This provides an exciting opportunity to join IRiMaS (Interactive Research in Music as Sound), an innovative five-year research project funded by the European Research Council working at the frontiers of knowledge in the field. The Research Fellow will bring Digital Signal Processing skills to this interdisciplinary project which co-ordinates expertise in musicology, software design and DSP to facilitate a new approach to music analysis. The project, based at Huddersfield and led by Professor Michael Clarke, is in collaboration with Bath Spa University, University College Cork, and IRCAM (Paris).
