Thanks IOhannes, unfortunately it did not change.

here are two lines from the system log:

Oh, something I did lightyears ago for matjus desire data and then got 
pulled into Pd-extended now arrived in vanilla? I'm thrilled, probably 
need to switch my system language to German to test this :)
