[PD] [PD-announce] Pd version 0.48-0test7

I have the problem too (64 bit Mac version - it seems to work on the 32-bit
version just fine).  I don't know how to fix this and it appears that when I
try to make changes to the GUI code it upsets people - so unless someone
else can figure this out I'll just release it in its current almost-working
state.
