[PD] Win10: unable to create registry entry

Hi list,

Adding a Path to pd's preferences on Windows caused the following error
and no persisting path entry in the preferences:

Is this a known issue, has it happened to someone else?

Would be great to be able to fix this, all ideas are very welcome!
