Load a sample into a table and playback the table at a faster/slower rate ...?
See Help -> Browser... Pure Data / 3.audio examples / B12.sampler.transpose.pd
or https://github.com/danomatika/BangYourHead/blob/master/3.Audio/MicroOrchestra/sampler.pd <https://github.com/danomatika/BangYourHead/blob/master/3.Audio/MicroOrchestra/sampler.pd>
Next, create a bunch of sample players which read from the same table for multiple voices and use the poly object. Feed notein events to poly.
