[PD] cannot change between cameras in pix_video

Dear list,

I have 2 USB cameras connected to my old Macbook Pro (32bit, Mac OS 10.6)
and the built in camera is available as well. In the system info all 3 are
visible.
When jumping between devices in pix_video, only 1 camera gives image, the
rest is unreachable.
Is there a known issue behind it?
How can I fix it? Please advice!
