[PD] Pd crashes with error Pd: signal 6

i'm not sure whether i said that before: you shouldn't open/close
patches during performance, and instead let your data flow to (only) the
places where it is required.

that's not to say, that if there is a bug (e.g. memory corruption, as
indicated by SIGABRT) it ought to be fixed.
