why are you running Pd as root?
in general, you shouldn't

have you considered using a recent version of Pd?
(raspbian is based on Debian/stretch, so it should come with at least
Pd-0.47; stretch-backports contains Pd-0.49)

if you are starting Pd with "-nogui" and you get this error, something
is seriously wrong...wrong as in memory corruption.
try loading without any libraries. (start with "-noprefs")
