[PD] Query if Pd is in Edit mode for a GUI

Hi, how can I query Pd to know it's in Edit mode so I can change the
appearance looks of a GUI?

The idea is to show the inlets only when in Edit Mode. This would be
necessary for [comment] and [scope~] in cyclone. But if it's impossible,
I'm fine with that.
