[PD] Full stop '.' in class namespace

Another question from the rabbit hole which I may have asked before-- what 
is up with the code after line 191 in s_loader.c:        /* next try (objectname)/(classname).(sys_dllextent) ... */

For [foo/bar], this would try to load "foo/bar/bar.pd_linux". I don't understand 
why the loader would try to do that.
