[PD] missing last letter in object names

I mentioned in an other topic on this list that from the terminal with the
command pd it did not open with an error like this"
/usr/local/tcl//pd-gui.tcl that TCL could not find no such directory, as it
pointed into a wrong path with a double slash after /tcl

however from the desktop clicking on the icon could open it without any
problem.

the command 'puredata'
 in terminal caused the above mentioned missing last letters/numbers in
each message, object or symbol etc
