what would you expect to be in the repo?
it's supposed to contain
- the source files (plts~.cpp)
- the build system (Makefile,...)
- demo and help patches
unfortunately javier also checked in some binary artifacts
(plts~.pd_darwin) and upstream files (m_pd.h), which he really shouldn't
have done [2], although that shouldn't be a big problem for you)

no.
once you compile the library, you will always end up with a
"plts~.<someextension>" in this directory.
