[PD] buildroot / externals

following up on this for the sake of documentation cause im sure someone
will make the same mistake i did:
the raspberrypi defconfig of buildroot uses the uclibc toolchain per
default, once i set to glibc and rebuild everything works like charm,
including the cyclone stuff
