[PD] audio via HDMI output terminates Pd

Dear list,

I am trying to play video with synced audio on HDMI output, but after 10-15
seconds Pd dies with an error:

pd: pcm.c:1168: snd_pcm_prepare: Assertion `pcm' failed.
Pd: signal 6
Can you help me to fix this issue?

Ubuntu 18.04 with ALSA
