you *can* start the sub-process with the -nogui flag.

If your patch uses the -nogui flag packing Pd+thepatch sounds very 
simple. Didn't test but for Windows would be a folder with:


Folder
     pd.exe
     libwinpthread-1.dll
     pd.com
     pd.dll
     your_patch.pd


and on macOS:

Folder

     pd <--(from content resources/............/bin)
     your_patch.pd
