[PD] DC offset - external for correcting DC offset in realtime

Hi Ingo,

You can see a DC offset as a constant signal with a frequency of 0 Hz.
Therefore you can get rid of it using a highpass filter at for example 7 Hz. I’m assuming you are working with full spectrum audio and therefore you want to make sure that anything above 20 Hz isn’t affected by the highpass filter.
[hip~ 7] will do the job.

Best!

Edwin

Hi there,

before I start trying to figure out something on my own I'd like to ask if someone knows of an external for removing a DC offset in realtime.

Thanks!
Ingo
