Ubuntu imports it's packages from debian testing, which means that if a fix
for a packaging bug for a non critical package was released in Debian
testing after a particular version of Ubuntu was released, the fix will not
automatically find it's way to Ubuntu until someone creates a bug report
and makes some noise.

I'm sure the Ubuntu Studio dev team would assist in both confirming a
possible bug, as well as uploading a fix, if contacted.
