[PD] pd~ crash with broken pipe and difference between "pd~ start -nogui" and pd~ with gui

Hi,

[pd~] is broken in Pd 0.52-test0. There is already a fix on the develop 
branch. See https://github.com/pure-data/pure-data/issues/1418
