[PD] [GEM] RFC best practice: Video input/output on Linux and Windows and... Mac OS-X

Dear IOhannes !

Thank you for the advice, this seem practicable, I wanted to get sure.

Is Gem for MacOS on deken packed to have the fix inside ?
