[PD] Pd Vanilla 0.53.1 is crashing under GNU/Linux

well, it just proves that the probem is not in [operating_system], but 
rather in cyclone...err, no: i think the problem is in Pd (but i am 
still not sture yet).

could you please try to build the 'develop' branch of Pd and see whether 
the problem persists? (see my other email)
