[PD] issues trying to use libpd_process_float()

Sure, I'd be happy to help improve the documentation a little bit.

I'm running into another issue now though. While the audio no longer sounds
crazy (it is correctly playing a quiet sine tone) I can't get it to play in
anything other than mono. When I revert the example back to using shorts
though, the stereo comes through just fine.
