i think i have the adress completely wrong.
it should read ftp://xdv.org/pub/gige/rme/
but since the xdv-server is down again right now,
i have put the drivers on ftp://iem.kug.ac.at/LINUX/rme96xx-0.6.tgz
it is precompiled for kernel-2.4.6 (no matter what the doku might say)
