[PD] [OT] linux bitmap fonts

can some1 tell me if this worx http://nl.ijs.si/gnusl/cee/x11/font.install.html

i was planning to do the fonts for PD in BDF format...
so it would be possible to "compile" them for any os..

...

well, i don't have nothing against installing a small bitmap font for PD. but respecting millers wish that PD doesnt have to install anything in system folders, i would like to know is it possible (in windows, or any os) to use fonts that are NOT installed in the system... like using fonts from PD folder...
