[PD] [OT] nn: The Second Law of List Dynamics

nn,

what's most ridiculous about your writing is the audience you imagine your
speaking to - as though expecting them to be inimidated , or somehow full
of awe. this is of course no longer true. instead of strategically
retreating back into your smoke machine for the benefit of mystery, you
have instead slashed-on aimlessly with your rubber sword, and so failed to
satisfy even your own agendas of notoriety [an empty quest]. lipstick in
your beard, crying on camera you flap around on the bottom of your own
oarless boat.

we can only hope that soon you will have the strength to face the painful
realisation that for so many people, on so many lists, your 'contributions'
are utterly inane and voiceless - in turn choosing to retire gracefully as
a net-art administrator, or instead, enjoying the warm comradery of a
Creative Anachronists society [i can see you on a wooden horse]. you won't
be lonely and divorced at bar C64 for long, you are an interesting ppl with
a talent for stand-up poetry.

like so many developers, theorists, users and enthusiasts out there, i
filter out www.god-emil.dk, choosing not to have the smell of baby shit in
my in my inbox. i hear though you are again looking desperately for
identity catalysts, on the PD list. for the sake of everyone on this list,
the culture of open audio-development, Virginia Wolfe, Mum, R.S.I,
cyberfeminism, your kidneys and the holiday you cannot admit you need...
r-e-l-a-x; everyones left the stadium and gone back to work and you've
still got those silly red gloves on ; )

i invite everyone else on this great list to also filter out god-emil.dk
mail, leaving nn to shout into the void until eventually growing tired.
this is the second law of list dynamics: egocentrism is more quickly lost
than it is gained.

take it easy starbright.
