[PD-ot] Number of Users?

Hello List,

I'm trying to get an rough idea for how many people are currently using Pd.
Does anyone have any information that might be relevant?
Possible useful sources would include, for example,
an approximation of how many active users there are on the the pd mailing
lists,
or the number of times recent versions of Pd and/or Pd-extended have been
downloaded.
I don't know if this sort of information is readily availible or not.
Can anybody help me?
