One question in the installation file:

 If you want to replace CMF's DiscussionTool with CMFForum's One:

     - Go to your ZMI and add an External Method with this settings:

       id: install_forum_discussions
       title: Install CMFForum DiscussionTool (optional)
       module: CMFForum.Install
       function: install_discussions

schould we dot that ?
