Yes, I think this, too. 

BTW: I snatched the old pd.org FAQ from archive.org and archived it
here:  http://www.pure-data.org/Members/fbar/sandbox/Puredatafaq

It's unformatted, many answers are wrong now, anyway (like "Pd
doesn't run on MacOS"). But the questions are still very good.
