however, i usually use single quotes (ST) to get 'code' and it works
pretty well.

i never made my way around RST, but i am pretty fine with ST.
anyhow, i don't know a simple way to include mediawiki style without
breaking everything in the next upgrade...

which is the other option :-)
or use a browser for the blind (i hope it won't muffle the tiny fonts)
anyhow, on first glance i wasn't able to find the culprit (but actually
i never made it into css-writing either)
