I think that it would be a better idea to organize the tutorials  
around the ideas rather than the software.  Someone is more likely to  
know that they want to learn "3D graphics" than "Gem".

So something like this:

basic audio
audio synths
audio filters

video effects
video synths

3D graphics

interfacing with the physical world (HID, arduino, etc)

network programming
