[PD] newbie GEM installation question

Hello there,

I just downloaded and installed pd-0.37-0 tcltkaqua-8.4.4 and GemG4_010904
on my G4 dual 450 running os 10.2.8. PD seems to be running fine, GEM is
giving some problems:

What am I doing wrong here ?

+ the examples and help files seem to open by default in font size 12, which
messes up the layout of the files. Font size 10 seems good, is there a way
to set the default font size to 10 ?
