[PD] problem with plugin~

hello,

I just checked out the externals module in CVS.
I reinstalled plugin~ and still have this problem:
I try to instantiate a [plugin~ /usr/lib/ladspa/gverb_1216.so] object: 
all characters on canvas disappear. see the attached image.

Does anyone have this problem?
