[PD] [pd] tables as patch storage

I haven't been on this list for a long time. The first thing I see is
the same old crank acting like a crabby sour puss.

Par for the course. I think that kind of negativity spoils a lot of
productivity. Maybe you could work on social skills and how to not
come off as a jerk so much?
