hello,
using
sudo apt-get install libmagick++9-dev
+
./configure --without-tiff --without-jpeg

does work!
i don't have any crash!
(+, i can now read png file!)

So, one can have crash when gem is compiled with libmagick++ _and_ with libtiff and libjpeg.

(the crash i had was when i tried to open a non existing file).

thanks
Cyrille
