svn co svn://svn.videolan.org/libmpeg2/trunk
run bootstrap
./configure
cd libmpeg2 (in libmpeg2 dir because libvo fails)
make
make install

installs libmpeg2.dylib to /usr/local/lib

hope that works ok? let me know....

cheers
